Learn to surf

Thick and wide softboard
Surfing is such a cool sport that it attracts millions of people to learn every year, but how many people can become a real surfer in the end? I would say not too much. Too many people get frustrated at the beginning, and at least half of them are caused by choosing the wrong surfboard. A right first board helps you to pass through this frustrating stage. What is a right beginner board? The basic rule is lots of volume. Higher volume boards give more stability which is crucial when learning to stand and balance. When choosing a softboard, you must know how many litters it has. If the number can not be provided, you can get a rough idea by it’s dimensions. SX beginner boards are made thicker and wider to increase volume. Learning to surf will be so much easier and fun with SX beginner boards.
Safety is a big thing

Rubber fins
Another reason that soft surfboards are widely used as a beginner board is the safety it provides for new surfers. When you start to learn, I can guarantee that you will be hit by your own surfboard many times. The soft deck and rail prevent not only you, but the surfers around you as well from getting injured. SX beginner surfboards provide flexible rubber fins with the board, Unlike the sharp hard fins, These fins will never cut your skin.

Sealed fin opennings
SX soft boards have all the characteristic that soft surfboards should have: Thick, rounded full rail, high volume, wide tail. We also design the rock well to make it work the best for beginners. Even if the EPS core is water proof itself, We still wrap the fin holes with EVA foam, so the board won’t get heavier.
Choose your surfboard by volume
If you are a beginner, and don’t know what kind of surfboard should you choose. The answer would be “Choose your surfboard by volume”
What does volume mean? It tells you how much buoyancy a board has. The more buoyancy a board has, the higher it carries you above the water, the less drag there will be when you paddle. If you stay high in the water, you can move faster to catch more waves. It really helps to build confidence when you just start surfing. When we see new surfers struggle in the waves, most of the time, it’s just because they chose the wrong board.
There are two factors to determine what board you should choose: your weight and your skill level:
